There are seven different locations in the game...

Caladan
It's
the planet where you start when you are a newbie and you haven't joined
a guild yet. Just go into the portal at the Astroport (AP) and you can
start killing some lake fauna... Be patient, because the killing takes
long, but it's worth the effort later... If you have some money already,
you can buy a ticket and take the tram to a newbie forest. But more of
that in the newbie
section.
A shop
can be found east, north from AP.
North,
east is the Post Office.
Arrakis
The planet of the desert, home of the Fremen... Everywhere is sand, sand, sand...
Arrakis has just been recoded in a pretty rocking way. The main town (where the AP is) is Arrakeen, around is the desert. The desert is a deadly area, but if you have the patience to explore it, there are some nice things to find...
The fremen guild is 13s,16w,enter from AP.
The rest of the area's you have to find yourself, otherwise I would take away the fun of exploring ;-).
Wallach
This is the planet of the Bene Gesserit... Peaceful and green... until you come slaughter all the animals...
The shop is s,s,w from AP, and s,w,n you can buy a News Hearer.
Wallach Forest is a nice area for levels above 15 (maybe above 10 if you're good :-)) Just go a couple of times s and then w... Also Alan's area (5s and then e from AP) are worth to check.
The BG Guild is located s,e,e,e,n,w,d from AP.

Salusa
The Planet of the fierce Sardaukar, army of the Emperor.
There is a shop w,n from AP.
Elmer's area is 2e from AP, Poetry's area is e,n... Poetry's area is down for the moment, but it will be back after Wallach is finished. There's also a nice non-newbie area w,s,s from AP.

Ix
This is the "City Smog"-Planet... The IMG Guild is located here (e,n,n,n,e,e,e,s,u from AP).
The most interesting place here are the lockers (e,n,n,w,d,s).
A shop is e,14n,nw... at the URC area, where there are some area's for every level (except the real BIG ones of course :-))
Also the Ix Tower is interesting for newbies (go find that one yourself :-Þ)

Giedi Prime
The Home Planet of the Harkonnen army. The guild is situated w,s,s,enter,d
Nice area n,n from AP (military camp) for every level above 15.
A shop lays n,n,e from AP.
Newbie area is east.
GP is going to be recoded.
Tleilax
Normally I just go there to buy a backpack or some sapho (pack: n,n,exit,w,w,s and sapho: s from AP)
But now there's a new area from Fate that's pretty rocking, w from AP.
The shop is n,n,e, and the Tleilaxu Guild is n,w.
Tleilax is being recoded at the moment.
Chapterhouse
Chapterhouse is the youngest planet in the game. The Warrior guild is housed here. It's located w, enter from AP.
The shop is n,e from AP.
I haven't got much info yet on this planet, but I can tell you already that it's worth a visit. Check it out yourself if you want to know why *chuckle*.
